What happens when two people love each other? Life arrises from it ! As we are stepping into spring time, I had the privilege of stepping into the ‘spring season’ of this little families life. And OH what a joy it was!

I know, as new parents, they sometimes feel ill equipped or just tuckered out, but they are doing a heck of a job! As a team, they step into this new chapter of life and share all it has to offer. From the angelic smiles to the sleepless nights. It is all beautiful! Why? Why is family life beautiful? Because it is the fruit of our love and it also teaches us to love better, at the same time. Through it, we become the man and woman we are called to be. This can be done, even if a husband and wife are unable to have children. The fruit of love is life, and life can be given in many forms. It is a gift to another.

The family is so important, not just for us personally but for the whole world. St John Paul the Great says it well, “As the family goes, so goes the nation and so goes the whole world in which we live.” He also shares that, “Genuine love … is demanding. But its beauty lies precisely in the demands it makes.” We, as a society, often run from demands, sacrifices, or struggles. Naturally, it is not easy. But the beauty that takes place in the midst of it all is transformative…it offers new life!

May this precious little family and the images captured when I entered into their home inspire you as they inspire me. Love well, for it makes all the difference in this world.
