This image recounts the moment Jesus took Jairus's daughter's hand and told her to arise. Upon arrival to the synagogue official's home, Jesus was ridiculed but that did not stop him from bringing new like to the young girl. This was a foreshadowing of the new life Jesus would bring to His followers through His death and resurrection.
